Presbytery of Seaway Glengarry Visioning Questionnaire
Dear St. Paul’s Congregation -
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.
The Presbytery Visioning Committee has begun a process to listen to, understand, and support the congregations in our presbytery.
The purpose of this work is to learn more about each congregation’s identity, strengths, areas for growth, and to explore how they are engaging with their communities. Presbytery wants to strengthen its ministry and mission in each local context.
As part of this process, St. Paul’s is invited to complete a survey prepared by the Visioning Committee. This survey will help reflect on our worshipping life, the needs of our congregation and community, and consider our local needs and available resources. At the conclusion of this process, the congregation will receive findings and recommendations to support and enhance ministry. These may include new approaches to ministry, new initiatives, regional collaboration, celebrations of existing ministry, or other steps that may help strengthen and renew our witness in Christ.
We invite you to take a survey and prayerfully complete it, seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Survey forms are also available at the church.
A worship will be held on February 1st, following the worship service, to provide information and to answer any questions you might have.
Thank you for your participation, discernment, and prayers as we seek God’s guidance together.
With gratitude and blessings,
The Session of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Kemptville
Please complete your questionnaires by Sunday, March 1st. It can be returned to either a member of Session or the Minister.
